I am currently researching the possibilities of using (chat) bots as poetic tools. This research is supported by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and falls under the Digital Literature scheme. In 2017, as part of this, I organised a two-day workshop at Perdu in collaboration with collective Hackers&Designers and Botsquad.

My initial findings and experiments were published in the "Vintage issue" of DWB, 2018-1. In addition, several chatbots are currently crawling around this site. These bots are in their toddler puberty, things still occasionally go wrong. Following their conversations, I try to improve them. Feel free to talk to them, you might find your words again in the poetry.
